Melissa has been performing since the age of 3, although she started begging her mom to put her in dance classes at the age of 2. She has had a fierce love for performing ever since.

 

Melissa spent her entire middle and high school career performing anywhere she could. She went on to Baylor University to get a BFA in Theatre Performance, and has fulfilled her life long dream of moving to New York City in the fall of 2021.​

 

Since being in New York, Melissa has been doing various staged readings and film/television projects including landing a featured dancer role on The Crowded Room and a non-speaking co-star on Law and Order. Through this project Melissa has become SAG Eligible and is looking forward to continue her professional career as an actor.

 

In addition to these projects, you can soon see Melissa featured in various other film projects such as Sunny Side Up and Where Desires Go to Live.  ​

 

Beyond acting, Melissa has an affinity for Dance, Filmmaking, Modeling, Photography, Writing, and Travel. Despite being a multi-hyphenated artist, Acting has always been Melissa's first love, but she holds an extra special passion for anything that combines her interests.
